N2N Global seeks a Food Safety Consultant to assist our Food Safety Manager implementation teams with providing advice to clients on HACCP plans, Best practices advice, and even training of employees on the defined programs. Job ID #1318765
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes. Consulting. Experience developing HACCP plans and Improving existing HACCP or operational compliance plans. Keep up to date on the communicate changes in regulations including, USDA, FDA, SQF, BRC, ISO, OSHA, Kosher standards, packaging and labeling requirements, and food safety. Provide guidance and support to other staff on quality, food safety, and personal safety issues. Utilize technical experience to find opportunities for improvement in our products and processes and communicate these opportunities to management. Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in biology, chemistry, food science, public health or a related field. Three to five (2-5) years of progressively responsible food safety, sanitation and quality assurance experience is preferred. Broad knowledge of current food safety laws and regulations regarding food processing facilities. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skill set. Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts. Solid decision making skills. Bilingual Spanish-English helpful but not required.
