Food Scientist Requirements: BS in Food Science/Food Engineering/Culinary
or commensurate experience. Prior food science experience required.
General knowledge of food science principles. Competent problem solver.
Good teamwork and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and
process. Ability to operate lab equipment and work independently. Pursue
learning and self development with guidance.
Ideal candidate: R&D with dairy and food science degree. Description:
Follow technical plan to achieve Project Charter objectives. Participate
in the testing and development of Fluid and Cultured Products. Procure
raw materials and technical information needed for development. Prepare
and process pilot plant prototypes. Participate in production trials and
commercialization. Record test procedures and observations. Coordinate
product evaluations. Lead shelf life testing of Fluid and Cultured
Products. Provide technical input and record results. Implement
recommendations. Communicate project results with Project Leader.
Duration: 3-6 months (excellent chance to go contract to hire for right
