Description:
Aerotek Scientific, a national leader in scientific
staffing, is currently recruiting for a Food Chemist/Microbiologist
Technician for our client in the Kansas
City area.
The ideal candidate will be a versatile microbiologist with experience in wet
bench/analytical chemistry.
This candidate will run the HPLC, bioassays, antioxidant testing, oxidation
analysis, safety tests, make media, perform aseptic technique, and microbial
micro ID to ensure food quality.
This position offers advancement and the opportunity to gain a variety of
analytical and wet chemistry techniques.
The incumbent must be proficient with microbiological techniques with
exposure to HPLC, have a flexible attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
B. S. Microbiology or related science
HPLC experience from college or an internship
