Description:
Aerotek Scientific, a national leader in scientific
staffing, is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Technician for our
premier food company in the St.
Joseph, MO area.
The QC Technician will be responsible for reviewing the manufacturing
processes in the blending of meat products which will include the following:
-Training production workers to perform tasks during the manufacturing
process and ensure compliant with regulations.
-Sensory analysis of products being produced.
-Chemical analysis of samples from the production line.
-Review thermal processing systems for accuracy.
-Interpret data trends for problems solving.
-Perform flow and turbine meter checks for compliance.
-Raw material inspections.
-Finished product Attribute Quality Levels.
-Promote food safety and production through awareness to surroundings.
This position will be working in very cold conditions and will be responsible
for multiple production lines at once.
Qualified candidates have a BS degree in Food Science or related and are
detail oriented, process driven, have good communication skills, and good
deductive reasoning and problem solving skills should apply.
This position is a second shift, 3:00PM-1:00AM, which will also include quite
a bit of overtime.
The company is located in St. Joe,
MO and no relocation benefits
will be provided.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Food/Animal Science or related scientific discipline or relevant
experience is required.
Candidates with prior training in Quality Inspection within the meat industry
