The individual is responsible for investigating the means, methods and
materials related to the development of biotechnology and biotechnologic
products of the company including food products and food and herbal
supplements. The individual will participate in all research, development,
evaluation and validation of new and improved processes by appropriate
testing. He will conduct biofermentation of
bacterial cells to synthesize compounds to be extracted and packaged for
consumption by the company's clients. He will participate in the development
of testing specifications for raw food and herbal supplement materials,
process intermediates and finished products. He will participate in scale up
of developed processes, including training of manufacturing and quality
control staffs. He will maintain all laboratory records with regards to
activities according to applicable governmental regulations, manufacturing
processes and other considerations. He will interpret all laboratory
results and activities and provide reports to management. He will
advise management and technical personnel regarding scientific aspects of
products, performance, quality and character. He will prepare all
scientific technical reports for promulgation of the company’s business
interests. The individual will supervise and direct the activities of
laboratory technicians. The individual will be required to read,
analyze and interpret common scientific literature, technical journals and
legal documents. The individual will write reports, business correspondences
and analytical methods procedures. The individual will present information to
company management and staff. He will apply advanced mathematical
concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and statistical
formulas and functions. The individual will define problems, collect data,
establish facts and draw valid scientific conclusions. The individual will
also interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical of
diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables in performing his
duties. The individual will apply principles of logical and scientific
thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. The
individual will deal with nonverbal symbolism, such as formulas, scientific
equations, graphs etc. in the most difficult
phases. The individual will also deal with a variety of abstract and concrete
variables. Requirements
Masters Degree Biotechnology and 2 years experience in the job or in the related field of Research Assistant. |
