This position provides opportunities to lead product development initiatives for the commercialization of new products in the Beverage Mixes category. Project opportunities allow this individual to leverage their technical leadership through direct interaction with R&D experts/peers, Marketing, Quality, Operations, Sales and other cross-functional members. Additional responsibilities to include:

·         Develop and implement new product launches from concept to commercialization

·         Optimize product quality and cost

·         Plan and execute experiments and summarize results

·         Lead/Support project teams as a technical resource

·         Implement consumer tests in conjunction with Consumer Sciences team

·         Develop and manage deliverables to achieve R&D timelines

·         Create and manage product specifications

·         Design and conduct plant trials

·         Maintain technical documentation

Qualifications

·         B.S in Food Science with minimum 2+ years’ experience or M.S in Food Science with 1+ years’ experience

·         Willing to travel 20%

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Highly motivated

·         Ability to multi-task complex projects

·         Basic understanding of ingredient functionality/interactions

·         Ability to work effectively in a team environment
