†† Perform process development and
improvement projects as they relate to the companyís mission of
supporting new product introduction and continuous improvement of
processes and products.†
a sustainable technology program in maximizing the functional and
economic values of spices/herbs.†
other programs in extraction, extrusion, flavor
reaction, powder processing and drying.†
in technical problem solving for both internal and external clients,
and in process design and development, process analysis and scale-up,
materials physical properties and their effects in processing.†
and document results and communicate these to company technical
community and management.
†† Masterís degree in Food Science,
Physical Chemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering and 2 years of
progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or
related occupation requiring research and development of food sciences
and/or processes required (Will accept a Ph.D. in Food Science,
Physical Chemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering in lieu of 1 year of
experience, or any suitable combination of education, training, or
project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple
projects concurrently required.
leadership, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
familiarity with food ingredients and flavors, current methods of food
propertiesí measurements, process/materials research techniques, and
food science principles, including food polymer science required.
of spice and herb sterilization, preserving, and processing required.
