The New Product Development
Technologist is reponsible of lab management,
sensory evaluation, optimization projects and bench top formulation. The
ideal candidate must have excellent organization skills, the commitment
to follow standard operation procedures and the ability to interact with
others in manufacturing and office environment.
Essential functions & responsibilities:
document and manage all incoming ingredients/material to KIND NPD
new ingredient review & approval process.
KIND NPD and analytical equipment per Good Laboratory Practices
with new product formulation
Shelf Life Study:
accelerated shelf-life study
internal group sensory evaluations and maintain Sensory Evaluation
analytical tests of retain samples and accelerated shelf-life
with computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook with a basic
knowledge and has basic understanding of food recipes.
knowledge of Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
able to travel 25%.
Bachelors Degree in scientific discipline or Culinary Art or
extensive work experience in the food industry equivalent to a Bachelors degree.
