We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Manager
This newly created position within our organization requires candidate to formulate and direct policies and procedures to provide a safe and healthful environmental atmosphere within the workplace. Candidate will be expected to know and be able to direct the company to be in compliance with safety regulations, lead the Safety Committee as well as develop and direct an SQF/HACCP program which will need to incorporate prerequisites such as GMP's and SOP's.
Additional primary responsibilities include the following:
*Develop and implement an SQF/HACCP program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards related to the above.
*Evaluate hazards within facility for safety, health, and environmental risks and provide corrective actions necessary to correct them.
*Develop health and safety procedures and program for all departments and in addition monitor and document compliance to reduce risk.
*Will need to revise and update the quality control manual to incorporate SQF materials.
*Develop and maintain internal audits related to SQF Requirements.
