R&D Food Technologist Product Development
A major and growing food manufacturing company in the Chicago, Illinois
area is searching for a Technologist to contribute to their R&D
efforts. Responsibilities will include formulating new products,
modifying existing products to suit specific customer needs, and
participating in manufacturing process improvement projects. You
will run test products on the pilot equipment as well as arranging and
managing tests and commercialization on the full scale production
equipment. This is a "hands on" position rather than a
purely scientific or theoretical research position. You will be
expected to be creative, energetic, and with a "can do"
attitude as the R&D department is lean. Rewards include good compensation

Requirements:
- Four year degree, preferably in a Food Science such as Meat, Dairy, etc
- 3-5 years experience performing similar
duties in either a R&D or QA environment
