-Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Agronomy,
Agriculture, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Nutrition required.
-15+ years of related experience required.
-Experience in product development, quality assurance, and hybrid research.
Job Duties:
-Main contact for key research & development initiatives as outlined by
research & development manager with newly defined products.
-Hybrid development as it relates to flavor and performance.
-Formulation Development on all ingredients, food science principles,
shelf-life, chemistry, formulation marriage with operations, and process
optimization.
-Customer/Sales point person for product.
-Special project management as outlined by research & development team.
-Manager food science as it relates to packaging, nutritional fact panel
design and test verification.
-Development in conjunction with packaging engineer and shelf-life
determination.
-Assist in design and develop consumer testing strategies.
-Lab methods and trial development.
-Source alternative suppliers for ingredients.
