We currently have a full-time opening for a Food Chemist at our
Cinnaminson, NJ location.
Working under the
direction of a senior staff member, the candidate will be primarily
responsible for the sample preparation and testing of food products for
nutritional content and product safety.

Perform a variety of
sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure
chemical and physical properties in a variety of food products
analysis in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs
Maintain and complete
all laboratory documentation in clear and accurate language
Operate and maintain
basic analytical equipment and instrumentation designated for food
analysis (will be trained)
and conversions, and compile the data obtained
Manage time effectively
to complete assignments in expected time frame
Maintain a clean and
safe laboratory work environment
MS or Ph D Degree in Organic Chemistry, Analytical
Chemistry, Food Science.
Minimum 2 years hands
on laboratory experience in either one of the following categories:
Nutritional, heavy metals, minerals, colorants, Pesticides, Drug
Residue, antibiotics, vitamins, meats, and/or grains.
quantitative analysis, trace analysis, method development, and sample
Previous experience in
food chemistry, food sample preparation and analysis preferred.
Must have knowledge of
wet chemistry techniques.
Ability to complete
data calculations including percents, ratios
and common algebraic formulae.
Experience working with
HPLC, LCMS, GC, GC/MS, ICP, ICP/MS, IC, TLC, NMR.

Hours: Monday – Friday
