EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma
or graduate equivalency diploma (GED) and six months to one year related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
VERBAL/WRITTEN SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions,
short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
and give clear instructions. Ability to spell correctly. Ability to
effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability
to use phone in a polite and professional manner. Ability to read and
interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. INFORMATION SYSTEMS SKILLS Ability
to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Basic understanding of computer
hardware and Microsoft Windows environments. Ability to use phone to
make, answer, hold, and transfer calls and use voice mail. Ability to
learn routine and job specific Ross computer commands and functions.
Ability to demonstrate basic computer abilities including storage and
retrieval of data, basic word processing and spreadsheet usage skills and
use of e-mail.
REASONING/DECISION MAKING SKILLS Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or
diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete
variables in standardized situations. Ability to use initiative to
