is an opportunity to manage the QA function for a multi-national food
manufacturer with opportunity for career growth. This position will manage
the food safety programs and quality systems for a food manufacturing
facility in Carson, California. This position supervises 8 QA Leads and
Techs in a 3 shift operation and is responsible for cross-functional
communication and training of operations, commercialization and R&D
teams.
Keys to success in this role are:
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of
progressively more responsible roles in Quality Assurance and Food
Safety within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong focus on Continuous
Improvement, attention to detail, and a strong leadership style.
- SQF certification as a
practitioner (preferred).
- BS degree in Food Science,
Microbiology or related (preferred).
Local candidates preferred but will offer a
relocation allowance for the perfect fit.
