Demo Coordinator Food Safety Job
Location: Austin, TX Position Objective To assist in the successful execution of Life Technologies’ demo program
for its Food Safety business by providing logistical support, managing the
inventory of demo units, and coordinating demonstration events. Works closely
with Life Technologies’ Food Safety / Animal Health sales reps to support
instrument demos and trials.
Support sales teams in scheduling and organization of instrument demonstrations Supply tracking and logistics support of demo instruments, reagents and
permits Manage inventory of demo instruments and related materials (e.g.,
receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, restocking, performing physical
inventory, preparing materials for shipment) Determine, in consultation with sales and product management, inventory
and demo event supply requirements Prepare and organize demo related training materials Ensure that prospective customers have a positive experience by
maintaining equipment condition and adhering to branding standards on supplied Maintain customer lists, reports and records Provide assistance with prospecting, identifying contact information and
competitive tracking Other duties as required and/or assigned Education: Requires a High School diploma Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field highly preferred Experience/Requirements: Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in
customer service, sales, research and development, or other related field Demonstrates a sense of urgency,
contagious optimism and a “can
do” attitude Anticipated needs and problems while creating
solutions Builds effective partnerships with customers
and colleagues Working Conditions: Work hours must be performed during normal business hours to match
delivery times and customer hours Works primarily in an office environment Is required to lift up to 40 lbs Must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials This position is not eligible for relocation
benefits.
