Position
Overview
We are
currently seeking a Quality
Systems Supervisor where under direction of the Quality
Systems Manager, he/she will be responsible for providing leadership and
technical assistance to an assigned operational department/unit by
aggressively managing food safety compliance systems and programs.
Primary
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Serves as the
primary Quality resource for assigned department/unit and ensures
adherence to all Kraft Quality programs such as GMP’s, HACCP, Internal
Audits, Traceability & Recall, etc…
-Ensures that
products are produced to specification and that all documentation
requirements are consistently adhered to meet safety, quality and
regulatory requirements
-Conducts
investigations to determine root cause and recommends & implements
corrective, preventive or improvement actions associated with quality and
food safety
-Supports the
commercialization process within department/unit and provides technical
expertise for Quality & Food Safety
-Develop and
conduct employee training as necessary to improve the overall quality
management process & system
Qualifications
Requirements Include:
-BA/BS Degree
in Food/Animal Science or related field
-Minimum 1-2
years of food safety/quality experience strongly preferred
-Ability to
work off-shifts and the weekends as needed
-Working
knowledge of quality management practices
-Strong
computer skills (Microsoft platform)
-Ability to
work aggressively and effectively with a wide array of plant personnel
ranging from hourly employees to senior management
-Strong
leadership, change management and communication skills
-Strong
organization & follow-up skills
-Demonstrated
data analysis & problem solving skills
-Influencing/coaching
people at all levels
-5-10% travel
required
