privately owned midwestern meat manufacturing
plant seeks a degreed Food Technologist. The Food Technologist
candidate will have 1-4 years of hands-on experience in a meat processing
plant operation, with an understanding of meat raw materials, post rigor
meat chemistry, meat microbiology and packaging science in refrigerated
meats. MUST HAVE a Bachelors or Masters in Food Science, Microbiology, or
similar type degree. Will not accept nonfood backgrounds.
Must be well-versed in USDA standards involving meat labelling.
