Improvement & Food Safety Coordinator Watkins Incorporated, a Winona, MN
based manufacturer and marketer of natural personal care, home care, spices
and extracts is currently accepting resumes for a Continuous Improvement
Facilitator to be based out of our manufacturing facility. As Continuous
Improvement & Food Safety Coordinator your duties will include acting as
the catalyst for the coordination of Lean Initiatives for the Company's HACCP
and Food Safety programs with the ultimate goal being the implementation of
lean principles and practices in areas of the Company that are strategic to
long term growth and profitability. The ideal candidate for this position
will possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or other appropriate
specialty including a Level II HACCP certification and have a minimum 5 years
of experience in leading and implementing Lean concepts and principles in a
high volume assembly environment. The position will provide guidance to all
areas of the company in the area of Lean Principles such as Value Stream
Mapping, 6S Principles, Kaizen events, as well as develop, organize and lead
Lean training sessions. Have a thorough knowledge to implement and maintain
food safety programs and policies. Successful applicant will possess
excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills along with
the ability to maintain confidentiality. Watkins offers a competitive
