Job description:

Define product and process parameters for existing products and purchased goods including ingredients, work in progress and finished goods. Work under the approval and direction of the Director of Manufacturing Operations to revise existing products and develop new offerings while continually improving quality and exceeding customer expectations. Job Duties include: Define product and process parameters for existing manufactured products. Define product parameters for purchased products including ingredients, work in progress and finished goods. Work under the approval and direction of the Director of Manufacturing Operations to revise/improve existing baked, fried and deli products. Work under the approval and direction of the Director of Manufacturing Operations to develop new baked, fried and deli product offerings. Follow policies and procedures for new product development including requests approved by the General Manager. Manage the departmental budget. Food Safety and Quality Assurance. Productivity. Environmental Health and Safety. Housekeeping. Team building. Continuous Improvement.

 

 

Job requirements:

This job requires an associates degree and 2 years of experience.

 

 

Specific requirements:

This job has some special requirements. You must undergo drug screening, pass an employment test and undergo a reference or security check.

 

 

Additional requirements:

Education/Experience Requirements: .Food Science degree or relevant experience ·Bakery/Deli experience is preferred ·R&D in foods is required ·Strong organizational skills ·Experience with inventory control, ordering and scheduling ·Experience with continuous improvement process, lean manufacturing ·Proficient in the use of a computer and MS office
