position is responsible for managing all Food Safety activities: in-process
quality control, facility GMPs and Sanitation practices. Duties include: •
Designing and implementing safety processes and procedures that ensure
product compliance to customer specifications; • Overseeing the evaluation
of product specifications and determining compatibility with process
capabilities; • Monitoring and reporting on key food safety measures
throughout the facility; • Ensuring compliance to all facility GMPs,
sanitation and quality requirements to meet audit standards and regulatory
compliance; • Acting as the lead food safety and sanitation technical
resource on assigned special projects.
years of progressive food processing experience; • Must have one or more
years in a management capacity within a manufacturing environment under
HACCP, USDA and/or FDA; • 5+ years experience
facilitating food safety/quality related training events; • Previous
experience with Safe Quality Foods or SQF Expert Practitioner is a plus; •
Must have strong organizational, leadership and communication skills; •
Must be able to work with cross functional departments within the
