POSITION DESCRIPTION:

FOOD SAFETY MANAGER

HARRIS RANCH BEEF COMPANY IN FRESNO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA SEEKS A SELF-MOTIVATED INDIVIDUAL WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN THE COMPANY'S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN FOR FOOD SFAETY,HACCP, SSOP, AND SOP. THE CANDIDATE MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF USDA/FSIS REGULATIONS. GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES ADND BRC REQUIREMENTS. CANDIDATES WILL ALSO MAINTAIN UP-TO DATE KNOWLEDGE OF PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS AND TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENTS.

REQUIREMENTS:

BACHELOR DEGREE IN ANIMAL SCIENCE, FOOD TECHNOLOGY, MICROBIOLOGY OR OTHER RELATED FIELD PREFERRED. 2 YRS. MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY ASSURANCE AND HACCP/FOOD SAFETY IN A BEEF PLANT ENVIRONMENT REQUIRED. THE ABILITY TO AUTHOR AND DOCUMENT INNOVATIVE FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM IS ESSENTIAL.
