Kelly Scientific Resources (KSR) has an exciting position available as a Part-time Labeling Specialist at a Gourmet Food Production Company located in Reading, PA.

This is a Part-time (20 hours per week), ongoing temporary contract opportunity with the possibility of permanent hire. The pay rate is also competitive based on experience level.

As a Labeling Specialist you will:

·        Prepare all ingredient and nutritional labeling copy using in-house software for all seasonal and new product launches. Provide copy to Creative Services on agreed-upon timing.

·        Proof output from both Creative Services and vendors to ensure accuracy to original information provided.

·        Assist Regulatory Manager with specific research and labeling topics as time permits.

·        Maintain copies and files of all output as required.

·        Work as a member of cross-functional teams to move seasonal and new product projects to completion.

o Ability to think through labeling challenges and requirements.

o   Ability to manage multiple priorities on short timelines

To be considered for this role, the following is REQUIRED:

·        Minimum education required: BS Food Science or related discipline

·        Experience: Quality Assurance in food production. Regulatory labeling background preferred.

·        1 - 3 years of relevant experience.

·        Strong accuracy and attention to detail is required.

·        Ability to work independently

·        Flexibility to accommodate changing deadline schedule
