About the
Job
Better Baked Foods, located in Erie,
Pennsylvania, has experienced tremendous growth over the last three
years. This growth has driven our need for a: Quality and Food Safety Director This person is responsible for the
Food Safety, Quality Assurance and Sanitation functions for our three (3)
manufacturing facilities. This position will drive continuous adherence
and improvement of the facilities’ HACCP program and ensures that all
incoming materials and products are safe and of good quality by maintaining
food safety and quality auditing procedures and programs. A bachelor’s degree in Food Science,
Microbiology, Chemistry or other science-related field is preferred; however,
your years of progressively responsible food processing experience in quality
will be considered. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of
USDA, FDA, allergens and labeling. Experience with New Product
Development and SQF is a plus. Better Baked Foods has been in the
frozen food manufacturing business for over forty years. As a quality
