Scientific Resources is looking for a Food Laboratory Technician to
work for a large Food company in Richmond, CA. This is a great
opportunity for people who have 0-1 year of Food industry experience.
Overall
Responsibilities: To maintain the flow of Syrup Production and
Quality Assurance functions while technicians (lab and syrup), are on
breaks or out on vacation. Perform seam checks as directed in the
Seam Scan inspection system. Check CO2 gauges monthly and record
calibrations in gauge calibration log. Help maintain orderly
concentrate and dry ingredient lot rotation Responsibilities:
-Perform Brix, TA, pH, Sodium, taste, odor appearance -Record test
results on Syrup Room Batch record and DPR reporting form -Perform
daily calibration procedures as outlined for each piece of lab
equipment on SOP blue-boards in the lab, and document - Perform
microbiological testing per written instructions in the Technical
Manual and posted Micro Lab SOP''''s. -Assist with line checks, Real
SPC data entry, control drinks, and or changeovers as needed. -Assist
the Syrup Room Technician with syrup preparation by ingredients
scaling, chemical batching, pulling raw materials from ingredients
warehouse and general clean up in this area. -Scale, mix, and
transfer syrup ingredients using GMP methods. -Mix appropriate syrup
quantities (batches need to be between 400-2100 gallons.) - Mix all
tanks according to specified order of ingredients and / or notes on
FAS batch sheets
Requirements:
-BS in Food Science or relative field -0-1 year of industry
experience. -A person that can multitask with ease. This is a
