The FSQA Coordinator position is responsible for overseeing the supply chain audit schedule, managing the supplier approval timeline, managing the FSQA database and reporting systems, and coordinating the documentation of ingredient specifications. This position also supports in-store testing and Product Development projects.

Essential functions:

Descriptions:
• Oversees the supply chain audit schedule, setting up the schedule and coordinating monthly with the company’s audit consultants on conducting the audits according to the schedule.
• Coordinates cross-functional team involving Product Development, Purchasing, and FSQA to manage the supplier approval timeline. Ensures that contracts, ingredient specifications, production, testing, and rollout are conducted in accordance with the project timeline.
• Manages the FSQA database and reporting systems, incorporating audit results and FSQA scorecard data.
• Coordinates with Purchasing, Product Development, and suppliers to ensure that the ingredient specification documentation is completed on a timely basis.
• Supports the Product Monitoring Program by ordering ingredients from store or supplier, cooking the ingredient(s) in a store kitchen, and coordinating a cross-functional meeting to determine if the ingredient meets company standards. Measures and weighs ingredients to ensure they are in accordance with company specifications.
• Supports in-store testing and special projects as needed. Travels to a store to cook new products and surveys guests to obtain feedback on the new products.
• Supports GO 101/202 classes by conducting food safety audits and providing feedback and coaching based on audit results.
• Provides administrative support to FSQA, coordinating meeting logistics and maintaining needed supplies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Food Science, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry or related field
• Minimum one to two years of related industry experience

• Organized efficient, good communication skills, highly independent

• Successful completion of annual store training
