JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a ground floor opportunity to start up, develop and manage a new pilot plant facility. The position will create processes and procedures for extraction and concentration of new products with focus on yield and flavor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Operation of the R & D Pilot Plant

·         Development of process and procedures

·         Propose and champion original ideas for applications to the food industry

·         Effectively propose, develop and manage process development projects

·         Investigate properties of ingredients and their interactions and effect on final products

Job Requirements

·         5 – 7 years of food process development experience, 2 years in extract development

·         BS Food Science/Engineering or other relevant science or engineering degree

·         Supervisory experience
