Corporate Quality & Food Safety Manager – Tillamook, OR
Department: 609 Quality Assurance
Responsible for developing and implementing company-wide, proactive, integrated food safety and quality, and regulatory systems. The position is also responsible for leading and coordinating analytical and laboratory activities at multiple manufacturing locations and ensures that all products meet Tillamook’s standards for quality and consistency across all manufacturing locations. Works with the marketing group to identify and resolve internal, consumer, and customer product related concerns and collaborates with Marketing, Operations and QA Food Technologist to conceive, develop, and implement successful new products. Works with Field Department to insure quality and safety of incoming milk supply. Expected to provide leadership and support across the entire company for compliance with regulations and to meet Global Food Safety Initiative requirements.
Requires a bachelor's degree in food science, or related field and at least five years of supervisory experience. Must have experience dealing with regulatory agencies as well as GFSI / SQF certifications.
