Where you will be working.
You will assist the Trading Law and Commercial Technical Teams
at our company headquarters in El Segundo, CA.
The Technical Team is responsible for vendor management,
product development, and legal/regulatory verification of our Private Label
What you will do.
You will support the Trading Law and Commercial Technical
Teams on safety, legality, and quality issues. You will work with other
departments on the development of systems, data collection and analysis of
information to meet business needs.
You will use your education, skill and knowledge to develop
systems, analyze data and respond to inquiries. You will also help create
opportunities to improve efficiencies through streamlined processes.
Specific responsibilities include generating KPI reports for
steering wheel purposes, maintaining a Technical Library, assisting with development
of policies and procedures, and compliance reporting and monitoring.
Who we are looking for.
We are looking for someone who is a recent college graduate
with a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or a
related field from an accredited college/university. This role requires
knowledge of factory/manufacturing standards and related programs such as
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis & Critical
Control Points (HACCP). Additionally, 1-2 years of relevant food industry
and/or retail experience is strongly preferred but is not required.
Candidate must also have good communication skills and the
ability to use computer based software, and must be proficient in Microsoft
(Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
