Senior Program Leader – Food Safety & Microbiology -
Glenview, IL Kraft Foods Global, Inc. is currently seeking Senior Program
Leader – Food Safety & Microbiology to work within our Glenview, IL
facility. As a Senior Program Leader – Food Safety & Microbiology, you
would have the opportunity to interact with multiple functions including
R&D, Operations, and Quality as Food Safety Senior Program Leader for
North America. This position develops global Food Safety policies in
conjunction with same function from other Regions. This position offers
excellent cross category, cross functional, global food safety experience.
This role largely focuses on individual HACCP plan development and
validations, as well as, development of the Global HACCP standards and
other food safety policies. This is for internal and external facilities
and includes microbiological, chemical, and physical hazards. Position
develops and manages Food Safety related training courses and Food Safety
related technical documents. Risk assessment and risk communication are key
components, as well as, identification and management of emerging issues.
Qualified candidates should possess the following: • PhD in Food Science or
related field of study • Minimum five (5) years experience Microbiology,
Quality Operations or Research & Development • Minimum five (5) years
experience in the food industry • Three years experience in HACCP
Design/Implementation • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently •
Excellent written and oral communication skills
