HACCP/Food Safety Coordinator – Peru, IN
This position’s primary focus is implementation and compliance with policy and procedures established at the Peru facility. Key areas of responsibilities are resolving all food safety issues, maintaining HACCP plan, SSOP program and prerequisite programs, training plant personnel on quality topics, ensuring compliance of company procedures and policies including pathogen sampling program, pre-shipment review, validation studies, report on deficiencies for GMP’s and SSOP’s, assist on customer audits and issues, act as a liaison to FSIS, back-up duties for micro technician, and any other duties deemed necessary by QA management. Timely coordination and communication with management, supervisors, and other employees is vital. This position is key in promoting food safety, measuring and reporting deviations to overall policy and procedures.
