Area Technical Support Coordinators in Ecolabís Food and Beverage division
provide value-added top antimicrobial technical expertise for the various
industries represented in Ecolabís customer base and provide sales support in
numerous ways. An ATSC also serves in a consultative role to assist in
solving complex customer Food Safety and Quality
related problems that surpass the technical knowledge of other associates in
the areas of products, programs and processes.

and enhance all aspects of our ability to provide Food
Safety solutions for our current and prospective customers, which is
evidenced by a reduction of lost business and obtaining new business.

make appropriate recommendations of effective Food Safety programs that produce

Candidate does not need to reside in St. Paul, but must live near an airport
and be open to travel requirements.

- Monitor and audit food safety
and quality assurance program and antimicrobial process quality
assessment within all antimicrobial customer facilities to ensure high
quality of products and systems.
- Manage and lead regulatory
agency activities related to current products and new system launches.
- Coordinate and act as a liaison
between Field Sales force, Ecolab regulatory division, customers and
regulatory agencies to ensure operational efficiencies in all areas of
our customerís facilities.
- Develop and maintain plant
documentations related to on-site visits, trouble shooting, plantís
microbial performance records and plant layouts and operating parameters
- Support new plant startups
weeks in advance by briefing USDA, delivering technical information to
plant management, training plant personal on titrations and the
specifications on operating parameters and conduct organoleptic
- Lead, design and execute
performance validation and verification after startups.
- Lead antimicrobial Process
improvement support and quality system auditing.
- Design and implement continuous
improvement processes as they relate to Antimicrobial product and
- Serve as primary lead for new
uses and applications of existing Antimicrobial technologies projects.
These projects will be defined by VP of Antimicrobial Sale and with
appropriate feed back from regulatory, marketing and engineering.
- Responsible for designing,
implementing and executing all aspects of antimicrobial research
projects programs related to expansion of current Ecolabís Antimicrobial
commercial products in the field.
- Serve as primary
interface with Academia and scientific association and other outside
research groups as appropriate on antimicrobial research projects.
- Responsible for development and
support for regulatory applications and for overall direction of
regulatory activity with respect to existing Antimicrobial technologies and
its new applications.
- Develop and maintain technical
liaison with national food equipment suppliers, food processor groups,
and professional associations, regulatory and academic
groups. National recognition via such contacts, publications and
participation is required.
- Minimum B.S. and/or MS degree
in Microbiology, Engineering or Dairy/Food Science.
- Intense industry experience.
- General mechanical ability
- Willingness and ability to work

clean driving record
- Travel up to 95% as required
