Food Safety Supervisor – Dalhart, TX

Job Summary

Provide technical support to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.  Manage functions, related to Food Safety.



·         Conduct, manage and report internal plant and external customer audits. 

·         Internal audits are to be conducted monthly with follow up.

·         Assist in the organization, development and task of customer visits and audits.

·         Assist with customer and product complaint resolution. 

·         Manage HACCP verification and validation.

·         Responsible for conducting and follow through of Non-Conformance products and ingredients. 

·         Responsible for SSOP management, chemical control/allocation and pest control programs.

·         Fluent in ISOCERT applications as it pertains to plant operations

·         Computer Proficient

·         English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English

·         Promote Company Culture


Training Competencies


Annual completion of OSHA Regulatory training and Company safety training program.

Annual First Aid and CPR Certification maintained.



·         Achieve common business goals through cooperative alignment with all departments

·         Quality Chek’d Leadership series


Technical Knowledge Requirements:

·         Tactical knowledge of production operations management for quality, yield and cost

·         New equipment implementation through vendor facilitation and training

·         Completion of HCC internal technical training programs

·         Software program proficiency in: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.


Qualifications: Education & Work Experience

·         BS in related Biological Sciences field preferred.

·         2-4 years of progressive management responsibility in the QA process.
