Skills Required : Minimum of a high school diploma or
GED certificate with lab or food safety experience preferred. Effective
oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. This
position requires critical analysis skills, the ability to read English,
verbalize in English, and the ability to focus on multiple tasks
simultaneously.
Marshfield Food
Safety is currently looking to fill a full-time lab analyst position to
work a evening/night shift. This person will be responsible for sample
preparation for testing, maintenance of required records, and maintenance
of a clean and sterile work environment.
While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand,
bend, push and pull. The employee must periodically lift and/or move up
to 40 pounds.
Typical work
environment is a laboratory and office setting in a fast-paced, stressful
environment where problems must be resolved quickly. Always more than one
activity going on at any given time. Possible contact with infectious
materials, biohazards and unpleasant odors.
