Growing,
established, mid-sized food manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance
Manager with QA experience in the food processing industry. The
position will report to the company President as part of the company’s key
management team. Responsibilities will include managing, overseeing,
and developing (as necessary) all food safety and quality programs;
monitoring the quality of both "in process" and finished product;
overseeing compliance issues with government agencies; and supervising
laboratory staff.
QA experience in the food
processing industry (to include a working knowledge of food processing
technology, HACCP, sanitation, pest control, etc.) is required along with
appropriate education and training in the field of food sciences,
chemistry, biology or a related field. Experience in staff management
and development is also required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a
plus.
