Science Professionals
Aerotek currently has several positions
available for Food Science professionals varying an entry level Lab
Technician, QC Technician and Product Development Food Technologists all in
the South Orange County area.
Local candidates are preferred for these contract-to-hire opportunities.
*Lab Technician - $15-17/hr
BS in Food Science, Chemistry or related science
Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM
Duration: 3 month contract to hire
- Basic laboratory testing of flavors and raw materials including pH
testing, sensory evaluation and brix.
*QC Technician - $15-20/hr
BS in Food Science, Chemistry or related science with at least 6 months to
2 years of experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry.
Shift: Training - Monday to Thursday 5AM - 3:30PM for 3 months thereafter
will be Friday to Sunday 5AM - 5:30PM
Duration: 3 month contract to hire
- Previous experience in QC/QA with sensory evaluation and liquid/powders
experience is a definite plus.
- -Will be responsible for working in a lab AND production floor
environment performing line checks, validation of flavors AND finished
mixtures.
*Food Technologist - Salary Based on Experience
BS in Food Science or Nutrition with at least 3-5 years of experience
Shift: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM
Duration: 3 month contract to hire
- Must have experience in product development, including the writing of
technical data sheets and food ingredient/ nutritional labeling.
- Should have strong knowledge of food science, food preparation, and Good
Manufacturing Practices
- Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with no restrictions
- Demonstrated flexibility -- effectively working under pressure and tight
deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Product Development Analyst - $15-18/hr
BS in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry or Biology
Direct Hire
Must speak, read and write Japanese fluently in order to translate labels
and product materials.
- Developing products and marketing materials for food manufacturing
client.
