Quality Assurance Technician - Gulf Rice Milling, Inc. Houston, TX Gulf Rice
Milling, Inc., a leader in rice milling and rice packaging and distribution, has
an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual looking to be part of
a company that is experiencing tremendous growth. Gulf Rice is looking for a full time
Quality Assurance Technician to help implement our company’s high standards
by overseeing raw materials, finished products, packaged goods, plant
sanitation and employee GMP Compliance.
Specific job responsibilities would include the grading of finished
Rice Products per USDA and Gulf Rice standards and monitoring the weights of
finished products, as well as, monitoring the integrity of packaging
materials. Maintaining required
documentation in a complete and expedited manner is also a must for this
position. Skills
Required: ·
3-5 years of experience in the rice
and/or food industry. ·
Experience and /or knowledge of Food
Safety, HAACP, GMP, Third Party Auditing and Plant Sanitation. ·
Ability to walk, stand and climb. ·
Must be willing to work extended hours
and weekends if needed. Our
