Description
BioSafe Systems is a
family owned company based in East Hartford CT that develops and markets
environmentally responsible products and solutions for the Agricultural and
Green Industries in North America. We have an immediate need for a highly
motivated person to help us develop our sanitation products and services
targeted at providing solution for the agricultural and food processing
markets in North America.
- Develop marketing plans and
sales strategies to help our distributors and customers solve their
food safety requirements
- Designs and implements safety
processes and procedures that ensure product compliance to customer
specifications.
- Develops programs, products,
equipment and methods to provide our customers environmentally
responsible food safety solutions.
- Works with customers and
distributors to design, implement and monitor procedures and programs
to ensure desired sanitation results are attained.
- Develops training programs
and provides training for BioSafe Systems personnel as well as
customer and distributor personnel.
- Help develop GMPs, sanitation
and quality requirements to meet audit standards and regulatory
compliance. Capable of developing standards with third party auditors.
- Acts as the lead food safety
and sanitation technical resource on assigned special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food
Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or other related field.
- Must be sales oriented
individual with a techncial background.
- 5+ years of progressive food
processing experience, with at least 1(3) years in a management
capacity within a business environment under HACCP, USDA and/or
FDA.
- 5+ years facilitating food
safety/quality related training events.
- Previous experience with Safe
Quality Foods or SQF Expert Practitioner is a plus.
- Must have strong
organizational, leadership and communication skills
- Able to work with cross
functional departments within the organization
- Good problem solving and
corrective action/resolution skills
- Strong computer skills with
experience using Word, Excel, Access, Power Point. SAP experience is a
plus
