Southern California, Denver and Washington D.C. markets, with plans for
growth into other markets in the near future.
Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance will lead our National Food
Safety and Quality Assurance Operations. In this newly created role
the Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance will work alongside the
SVP Operations, Executive Chef and Revolution Foods market leadership teams
to create and implement a USDA recognized quality assurance program.
As a member of the Revolution Foods Corporate team, this individual will
serve as a key leader in this dynamic, rapidly growing business which is
led by a socially minded entrepreneurial management team. Specifically the
Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance will be responsible for
planning, coordinating, directing and implementing food safety systems,
quality assurance procedures, food defense systems and related functions
for company’s market kitchens. He/She will be responsible for
preparing and managing the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Department
budget, as well as managing the cost for pest control and other USDA
mandates. They will provide assistance and oversight to the
Sanitation Department as it relates to performance and cost control.
The Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance also serves as a key
resource to the new facilities development team in ensuring that the
appropriate food safety controls are in place from a new facility design
standpoint. This position is based in our Corporate office in
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

systems as defined by Corporate programs and local facility needs,
includes developing company crisis management plan and recall
facility food safety and quality results by planning, monitoring, and
appraising job results; coaching and counseling operations teams on

QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following skills
in Food Science or related field, with a M.A./M.S. in Food Science or
Environmental Health preferred.
years of experience in the food industry, with quality supervisory
background with a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a
high-volume fresh prepared food business.
experience in the start up of HACCP and USDA in food facilities highly
commitment to and passion for healthy, nutritious and safe food.
spirit and experience working in such environments.
proven track record of creative solutions to operational and
food safety challenges with exceptional performance as it relates to
the 3rd party audits.
solid leader who has effectively hired and managed a team that has led
to successful outcomes, strong systems and processes.
creativity, resourcefulness, and good judgment in past roles.
ability to take initiative with little direction and ability to learn
quickly, while developing and implementing policies and
procedures at a aggressive pace.
experience in logistics and distribution is preferred in multi-cooked
self directed individual with outstanding organizational skills and
