Position designs, plans, validates and implements the development of new products, line extensions, product improvements, cost reductions and technical service for Nestle Infant Nutrition that are in compliance with established safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Leads and/or provides technical expertise on cross-functional project teams, including technical oversight of internal and external manufacturing start-ups as well as on-going technical service. Responsibilities include: design, execute and analyze experimentation; support, coordinate and conduct plant trials and start-ups; develop information for and issue product specifications, ingredient specifications, in-process control points and test requirements; demonstrate ability to co-create project direction by providing technical input through the planning and decision making process and effectively communicating with senior cross-functional group management; coach less experienced associates on product development best practices.

BS, MS or PhD in food science and 2-6 years applicable experience in food science or related discipline. Knowledge of broad-based technology, team leadership and project management, industry safety standards and GMPs.
