Internship Program:
Nestlé Prepared Foods in Jonesboro is searching for intern to join its
Quality Assurance Department. Internships will be between 10 and 12 weeks
during summer 2010. These are paid internship opportunities. Upon
successful conclusion of an internship, based on performance, interns could
be considered for full time employment with Nestlé in positions they are
qualified for upon completion of their degree.
Position Summary:
The compliance and food safety intern will focus his/her time on assisting
the Quality Assurance Team in maintaining documentation and programs in
support of formal food safety management systems and accreditations.
Examples of work could include development of procedures and policies, new
equipment validation/testing, writing technical instructions/manuals, and
management of change activities.
The successful incumbent profile for this internship is:
*Current College Student in an Accredited Program Seeking a Bachelors
Degree in Food Science, Agricultural Science, Microbiology or Other Related
Scientific Discipline
*Entering their Junior or Senior Year in the Fall of 2010
*Have firm understanding of Scientific Procedures and Methodology
*Have superior writing and verbal communication skills
*Have a GPA of 3.0 or greater (based on 4.0 scale)
