Job Description

The nationís leading producer of duckling and chicken specialty products, Maple Leaf Farms, Inc., is looking for a Corporate Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory Manager. Successful incumbent will have technical competence, and undergraduate degree, in microbiology, statistics, chemistry or food safety, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated leadership in creating, supporting and contributing to the production of safe, wholesome, consistently high quality products, with extensive knowledgeof poultry slaughter and value added RTC and RTE production operations. Expertise in regulatory affairs and program development, management and research (HACCP, GMPs, labeling, recall, food defense). Experienced in both quality assurance and product specification program design, development, and ongoing management. Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with production, R&D, sales/marketing, accounting and live production. Knowledge of Global Food Standards Initiative, such as SQF, is beneficial.
