Description

The Quality Assurance Intern will provide support to the Quality Assurance Team and focus on performing physical product evaluations, creating corrective action documents and follow-up with the Sonic supply chain partners. Individual will review product specifications to ensure consistency between products and specifications and assist with transition of specifications into the Sonic supply chain management system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing product evaluations to ensure product meets Sonic specification criteria.
  • Prepare evaluation reports and perform follow-up with Sonic supply chain partners.
  • Review plant corrective actions and provide recommendations to Sonic QA team.
  • Review product specifications to ensure consistency between products and specifications.
  • Assist with transfer of Sonic specifications into the supply chain management system.

Requirements

Requirements:
Attending a college or university, and pursing a degree in Food Science or related discipline; Food Service experience a plus (preferably QSR), preferably seeking a student entering their senior level collegiate status.

  • Ability to work under light supervision.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Ability to adhere to the Sonic Core Values.
