Description Conduct food safety inspections at client facilities in a region surrounding either Memphis or Nashville, TN. Provide technical training to management and employees at client's facility regarding the adequacy of food safety program, pest control, operational methods and personnel practices, maintenance for food safety and cleaning practices. Communicate to management both verbally and in writing on the level of food safety at the facility by recapping issues observed. Advise of corrective actions  needed. Submit written reports and expense vouchers in a timely manner.
Successful candidate will work out of their home. Two positions available--one near Memphis, one near Nashville. No relocation costs provided at this time.

Requirements Eduation: BS degree preferably in science or related topic to food safety or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5-10 years in food plant environment in a responsible position related to food safety.
Administrative Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills and have good working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office products.
Physical Skills: Must be able to safely ascend to heights, bend, crawl, and move safely around machinery without assistance. Must have good or corrected eyesight to perform inspection adequately without assistance.
Other: Must be able to travel extensively and be away from home. Must maintain a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for business use, and have sufficient fiscal responsibility to travel, work, and be away from home during the course of business.
