Overall
objective/accountability
Lead the development of Nestle Professional liquid
concentrates. These developments will be medium to large projects at many
times involving markets, regions or zones. Must be able to manage project
activities in full motion.
Main tasks/responsibilities
·
Lead R&D projects from concept to launch
o
Effective directs project approach, setup, status
report and closing.
o
Drives project teams or cross discipline groups.
o
Ensures all deliverables are met as per NPDI process.
o
Effectively collaborates with product development
lead on product/processes/experiments/trials.
·
Manages stakeholders
·
Keep current in the business aspects of the product
category
·
Continues to develop project management skills
·
Contributes to the scientific/technical pipeline
·
Lead and train staff and Nestle operating personnel
as required.
·
Comply with Nestle Integrated Management System and
all other company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
·
BS Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Science
·
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex
projects. PMP accreditation an asset.
·
Related experience in food industry, manufacturing
knowledge/experience an asset.
·
Good verbal and written communication skills.
·
Computer literacy.
·
Demonstrated leadership skills.
·
Knowledgeable in area of food processing including
unit operations, and microbiological/physical/chemical product alterations.
Aseptic knowledge an asset.
·
Experience with Dispenser/Product interaction a
benefit.
·
Understanding of the out-of-home business an asset.
