The Opportunity:
Join BioSafe Systems, an industry leader in
Agribusiness food safety and crop protection chemicals, as a Food Safety
and Brand protection Specialist. BioSafe Systems
manufacturers and distributes antimicrobial products including, but not
limited to, OxiDate, SaniDate
and ZeroTol, which maintain the integrity of
fruits and vegetables and control health and decay pathogens.
Role/Purpose:
We are seeking a Food Safety professional to maintain existing business and
develop new sales in the Western US.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively sell and increase
market share of BioSafe Systems’ Post
Harvest chemicals through Distributors and end users.
- Consult, educate and train
customers on BioSafe Systems food safety
solutions.
- Provide food safety solutions
for fruit, nut and vegetable packers and processors in California,
Oregon and Washington.
- Successfully partner and
manage relationships with distributors and packing house decision
makers.
Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
in Food Science, Microbiology or other agricultural related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food packing or processing,
preferably with the vegetable industry
- Relationships with Quality
Assurance and/or other key decision makers in the industry.
- Strong communication and
presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of chemical
dosing and monitoring equipment
Additional Requirements:
- All applicants must be
eligible to work in US with a valid US drivers
license
- Willingness to travel 50- 65%
- Background check may be requested
