Scope: Investigate 150 to 200 ingredients and determine if suppliers and
plants are in compliance with new FDA ruling for "Gluten Free"
1. Investigate ingredients
2. Request "Gluten Free Addendum"
3. Review for Compliance
4. Request supporting documentation and lab data
5. Update and Route RMATs, formulas and PRODs if needed
6. Implement protocols at plants and suppliers to ensure on-going
-Food Science or Food Engineering Degree
-5-10 years experience (protocols, formulations)
-Exposure to the new FDA rules is a plus
-Work independently, contribute to the team and self
solve issues or obstacles.
-Navigate social structures internally and with suppliers
-Able to earn credibility quickly with the plants and lead change
-Experience with Meridian is a MUST
-Former experience with product development and developing plant and
supplier testing protocols is a major plus.
