Food Industry- Director of Quality and Food Safety – Sioux Falls,
•This position will be responsible for developing and executing broad
quality and food safety policies and process across multiple meat
•On a tactical level this position will focus on opportunities to improve
quality, enhance food safety and reduce costs.
•Ideal candidates would have experience leading/managing through example
•Take a lead role and work closely with operations and technical services
on specific quality and food safety related activities.
•Develop and cultivate constructive relationships with relevant government
agencies such as the USDA.
•Develop and submit annual budgets for quality and food safety initiatives.
•4 year degree with a concentration in food science or related field
•Minimum of 10 to 15 years in the quality and food safety functions within
the food industry
•Ideal candidates would have experience in the ready-to-eat meat processing
•Experience working with USDA and other relevant regulatory agencies
