nutrition or related field & min. 3 yrs. exp. to develop nutritional
products & conduct research to support development of new product
& program concepts..... also responsible for bench-top product
development. Major product Nutritional bars.
Food Scientist with product development exp. min 3 yrs
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Nutrition mandatory.
Proficient with powders/dehydrated ingredients.
Create new formulations.
Independent bench experience with product development and knowledge of
Understands nutrition and flavorings.
Ability to follow through with product from concept to commercialization.
Familiar with standard laboratory practices and procedures (including
product specifications, regulations, etc.)
Ability to apply technical knowledge toward the development of innovative
products and programs.
Capable of displaying sound and practical judgment.
Must be able to communicate across all levels. Interface with suppliers
Team player, proactive and self-motivated.
Ability to conduct and summarize research of current scientific
Must have sense of urgency
Proficient with Word, Excel and Nutrition software
