Davisco Foods is now looking for a
Technical Services Scientist in our Eden Prairie, MN location.
JOB
DUTIES:
Responsible
for customer education, developing new markets, and working with
customers to optimize use of whey-derived ingredients in customer product
applications. Specific duties include: (1) determine ways to use whey
ingredients in feed, food, nutraceutical, and
pharmaceutical applications; (2) partner with sales team to educate
nutritional benefits of whey ingredients to customers and distributors;
(3) research current consumer markets, competitor products, and latest
food technologies to develop new product concepts; (4) explore potential
partnership with other ingredient suppliers and research institutes; and
(5) support colleagues in sales, technical services, marketing, and
ingredient registration.
REQUIREMENTS:
M.S. in
Nutrition, Food Science, or related field; one year of nutritional or
food science research experience, including whey protein functionality
and food product development; and advanced background in dairy product
research and food ingredient technology.
