Description

Eighty Eight Ten  is a Southern California based Staffing Firm helping employee's amplify their careers. 

Subsequently  in search of a Document Control Supervisor for a Perfumery/Food Company  located in Anaheim.

Supervisor will be expected to maintain and oversee the issues and review of the

 policies and procedures for the Company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Ensuring that Standard Requirements for Document Control, including annual review of Controlled Documents at met.

·         Maintaining a library of: Policies, Procedures, Training records and Inspection, Sanitation and Calibration Records.

·         Maintaining a review schedule for the standard requirement of document control and maintaining Document Change Control including revisions, obsolete and archived items.

·         Coordinating the writing and issue of new policies and procedures.

·         Maintaining communication between the various departments.

·         Coordinate ongoing employee, new hire and contractor GMP training and maintains all associated records.

·         Performing internal GMP audits and external audits of co-packers and warehouses.

·         Recommending continuous improvement projects as applicable to the Quality and Operations groups.

Requirements

DOCUMENT CONTROL SUPERVISOR

Requirements:

·          BS in Food Science or related field preferred.

·         Must have 5 years of Food Industry Experience with Document Control and Quality Assurance Experience.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, Project Management Skills.

·         Strong in Word, Excel and Power Point, Good understanding of Inventory Management Systems.

·         Must have strong motivation to bring projects to completion.

·         Must work well with all other Departments and take a leadership role to assist in writing SOP’s as needed and to ensure that reviews are completed by other Department Managers.

·         Must have Food Quality Background.

·         Must have experience with international quality audits including  BRC or SQF or ISO STANDARDS.

Working hours:  Mon-Fri  7-4pm, Must be available evenings to cover shifts. 
Must be available weekends for Overtime.
Pay Rate:  $18.00  Temporary position, possible long term.
